Surprising technique to release stuck energy

Have you ever felt your energy running low, and you knew something was off but could not quite pinpoint what was going on? Often our emotions are out of balance, which can be a drain to the whole system.

Jin Shin Jyutsu, is an ancient technique, which originated in Japan, was rediscovered in the past century and is now being used in integrative medicine (UCSD Center for Integrative Medicine) for a wide variety of conditions. This simple but powerful technique can be used anywhere anytime to rebalance your body and your mind.

Why is it effective? It triggers the body’s capacity to self-heal, and Jin Shin Jyutse had been shown to:

  • Relieve stress and pain

  • Eliminate fatigue and boost energy πŸš€

  • Improve immune function, sleep, and digestion

  • Release stuck energy and rebalance emotions.

This is the area we’ll focus on today.

The idea is that we have energy running through our body – widely known as chi or prana - which nourishes all the systems in your body including the internal organs. Each meridian is connected to certain organs. The problem is that when life happens, the energy pathways or meridians can get blocked or restricted due to stress, the situations we encounter and how we process them.

When these pathways are blocked or restricted, the energy doesn’t move, (think of sludge in a sink or a splinter on your foot) this can lead to physical or emotional discomfort, pain or even disease.

But there is something very effective you can do, both to prevent the energy from being blocked and to deal with it when that happens. On one level you already know this – when you accidentally bump your body on an obstacle you didn’t see, you often want to cup that hurt area with your hand. If you have a headache or back pain, you may want to hold that part of the body.

Jin Shin Jyutsu uses light finger pressure, similar to acupressure to release the tensions and blocked energy which are the causes of various symptoms in the body.

It’s the same principle as reflexology for the feet, where you press certain areas of the foot to release tension in a correlating organ. While acupuncture uses needles to unblock the energy, you are using your hands to restore the energy flow in the body. The great thing is that you don't have to depend on a practitioner for many of the aspects - this is something you can do yourself.

How does it work?

Consider this a “touch therapy that you can perform on yourself to boost energy and balance your emotions through stimulating the meridians in your hands.”  The energy pathways within your fingers are connected to different organs and emotions. You have the option to focus on one finger, and focus on one area or to do a whole-body balance by going through all the fingers one at a time.

It’s easy: if you are feeling worried, fear, anger, sadness or unease you can use it anywhere: in public places, meetings, in uncomfortable situations, before a major event.

Consider Jin Shin Jyutsu your secret weapon to regain your emotional equilibrium.

Now, let's get into the details:
